One star because there is no option for zero. My parents’ home was completely destroyed by a fire on 22 June 2026, along with five vehicles. AAC has been handling the vehicle claims on behalf of KGM Underwriting Services. More than 13 weeks later, the claims remain unresolved. One vehicle was assessed as a Category A total loss and valued at £40,000 on 21 July, with a net settlement of £39,800 stated as payable subject to indemnity being cleared and investigations being completed. Despite this, the payment has still not been made. My father made numerous telephone calls and was repeatedly told that the claims were still being looked at and that they were waiting for a report, without any meaningful explanation of what was actually holding things up. I subsequently took over the correspondence with my father’s authority and sent repeated written requests asking for basic information: what was preventing settlement, whether anything remained outstanding from my father, what investigations were still being carried out and when the claims could reasonably be expected to settle. Several emails went completely unanswered. Eventually, after I called specifically to ask why nobody was responding, James Larkin replied with a single vague email saying that AAC was awaiting the claims team to review the “Robertson’s report” and give them the go-ahead to proceed. No explanation was provided as to what the report related to, when it had been received, what was being investigated or whether it affected all five vehicles. I then sent further emails asking precisely those questions. Again, they went unanswered. I have now made formal complaints to both AAC and KGM because it has proved impossible to obtain a straightforward explanation of what is happening with these claims. There was also an extremely poor telephone interaction when I called to chase the unanswered correspondence. The member of staff sighed when I provided the claim number, questioned the information I was giving her and, after putting me on hold, returned with “you alright?” before subsequently criticising my tone when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the way the call had been handled. I appreciate that insurance claims can require investigation and I am not suggesting that legitimate checks should be skipped. The problem is the complete lack of transparency and apparent lack of urgency. After more than 13 weeks, we still don’t know exactly what is preventing settlement, what remains outstanding or when these claims will be resolved. For someone who has just lost their home and virtually everything they own, having to repeatedly chase an organisation simply to obtain basic information about their insurance claims is unacceptable. My experience has been extremely poor, and I would expect considerably better communication, responsiveness and ownership from an organisation responsible for handling insurance claims.

have been dealing with a vibration/shaking issue with my 2024 BMW, which has less than 15,000 miles, since June. Over the past several weeks, I have gone through appointments, phone calls, dealership visits, and escalation to BMW Customer Relations, and I still do not have a resolution. The dealer has had my car for about a week, plus an additional three days, and the issue is still not fixed. I have been bounced back and forth between BMW Customer Relations and the local dealership with no clear ownership of the problem. BMW finally had an engineer look at the vehicle, only for me to be told that the engineer did not have the proper tools needed to complete the diagnosis or repair. What is even more frustrating is that BMW still cannot tell me whether there is going to be a fix or what the next steps are. The craziest part is that BMW seems to think I should simply be okay with continuing to drive the vehicle the way it is. I do not think it is reasonable to expect a customer to accept an unresolved vibration/shaking issue in a 2024 vehicle with less than 15,000 miles, especially after the amount of time the dealer has already had the car and the number of times I have had to escalate this. I am genuinely saddened and disheartened by this entire experience. More than anything, I feel dismissed. I gave up a great car that I genuinely enjoyed, my Tesla, because I believed I was moving into another premium vehicle and ownership experience with BMW. Instead, I have spent weeks dealing with frustration, uncertainty, repeated escalation, and an unresolved problem. I truly love cars, and this experience has taken a lot of that joy away from me. Instead of enjoying my BMW, I have been making calls, going back and forth with the dealer and BMW Customer Relations, and trying to get someone to take responsibility and give me a clear answer. For a company that markets itself as a premium luxury brand, this entire experience has been extremely disappointing. I should not have to fight this hard just to be heard, taken seriously, and given a clear answer about a vehicle I purchased in good faith. At this point, I have lost confidence in BMW and how they stand behind their vehicles. I would not recommend anyone purchase a BMW based on the experience I have had. My car is still not fixed, BMW still cannot tell me if there is a solution or what happens next, and somehow I am expected to just accept driving it this way.
